Day two is organizing a desk top. Now my husband works from home most of the time, and this is really his domain. But it is our shared computer, and I use it too. It really isn't as bad as it has been in the past. But he never really cleans/dusts the thing, so I thought at least I could do that.

OK, Now I will attempt to show my meal plan for the week, ala Meal Plan Monday on Organizing junkie. A few posts ago, I stated that meal planning was one of my goals for the year. I've seen some blogs that plan out the whole month, which is what I did. It helps me to be less repetitive. But I will just list my plan for the week:
Tuesday: Turkey Sausage Jambalaya (I use Zatarans and add onions and bell pepper.)
Wednesday: Daddy's choice. I work that night. Often times will will feed the kids mac n cheese, then grill something for when I get home. We'll see.
Thursday: Ham & Bean Soup- A beginning of the year tradition. Will freeze leftovers for a future meal.
Friday: Leftovers or eat out.

Hi Angie,
ReplyDeleteYour menu looks very good. We would really like Ham Casserole. Thank you for sharing and you have a great week!
Everything looks delish! You make jambalaya the same way I do :)
ReplyDeleteI've been really craving some bean and ham soup! I'll definitely be making it soon! Do you cook it on the stove or in the Crockpot?
Sherry
Job well done! Do you live in Ft. Worth?
ReplyDeleteThe menu looks great! Would you mind pointing me in direction of the Turkey Sausage Jambalaya? That sounds really good and I would love to try it. Thank you!

@ Sherry- I cook the soup in my LeCruset stock pot. I just use the recipe on the bean package : )
ReplyDelete@ EJ- I use the zatarans boxed jambayla mix. Last week I found versions that were brown rice and a mild version. With sausage, it's a bit spicy for kids. With chicken, it's not that spicy.
